Ingredients

1 3/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c shortening
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
2 T milk
1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Beat well, blend in dry ingredients gradually;, mix thoroughly. Shape rounded teaspoons into balls, roll in sugar. Place on on greased sheet. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and place Hershey Kiss on top of cookie, pressing down so cookie cracks around edge. Return to oven and bake 2 to 5 minutes longer.
