Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups Kitchen Basics Chicken Stock
- 2 tbl butter, melted
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 2 qt baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium bowl, combine cornmeal, salt, and garlic powder. In a small saucepan, bring chicken stock to a boil over medium-high heat; gradually add to cornmeal mixture, whisking constantly until smooth. Stir in butter.
Add cream, baking powder, eggs and 1 cup cheese to cornmeal mixture. Pour batter into prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven, and sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top.
