Pesto

Great straight from the freezer. I use to freeze in ice cube trays but now I do it in freezer jars. Every 4 oz. you mix with 4 oz of whipping cream. This is great on pasta tossed with sauted chicken breast

Ingredients
- 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves
- 1-3 cloves of garlic
- 1/3 cup walnuts
- 3-6 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup to 1/2 cup olive oil

Step 1
take basil, garlic, walnuts, parmesan cheese and salt and finely chop in food processor, slowly add olive oil to food processor to make a thick paste.
Freeze for future use.
When making add 1/2 cup of whipping cream to the 1/2 cup of pesto.
