Belgian Chocolate Ice Cream Sundae Waffles 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • dash salt
  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 tbs unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 quart vanilla, coffee, or almond ice cream
  • Chocolate or Raspberry Sauce, for topping

Preparation

Step 1

In one bowl mix dry ingredients, in another bowl beat egg whites until soft peaks form, in another bowl mix wet ingredients. Mix wet into dry and fold in egg whites. Cook waffles.

Serve with a scoop of ice cream topped with your favorite chocolate or raspberry sauce.
