Ingredients

  • 1 - 16 oz. frozen bread dough
  • 1 - 10 oz. package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and well drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoons instant minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 2 tablespoons margarine, melted

Step 1

Roll dough into a 12" square on a lightly floured surface. Combine broccoli and next 4 ingredients, stir well. Spread mixture evenly over dough, leaving 1/2" border, starting on one side, roll dough tightly, jellyroll fashion. Moisten seam edge of dough with water, press securely to seal, turning seam side down. Cut roll into 8 slices. Cut each slice almost in half again cutting to within 1/2" of bottom. Gently open out halves invert, and place on a lightly greased pan. Brush with melted butter. Cover and let rise in a warm place 45 minutes or until doubled in size.

Bake at 375 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until brown.
