Sweet Sour Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 cup ketchup
• 1/2 cup pineapple juice
• 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
• 1/4 cup dry sherry
• 1 tsp sambal olek(spicy garlic chile sauce)
• 2 tbsp honey
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1/4 water

Preparation

Step 1

Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan and bring to a low boil.Skim any scum that rises to the surface with a small ladle.Stir regularly
to avoid scorching.Cook about 10 min.then cool.Thin out with a little water if necessary.
