• 1/2 cup butter softened
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 3/4 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 3/4 cup flour
• 1/2 teaspoon soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 1/4 cup sugar for dipping
• 1 bag Hershey Kisses unwrapped

Preparation

Step 1

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg, peanut butter, and vanilla.
Mix in flour, soda, and salt until well combined and then add milk and mix well.
Place 1/4 cup sugar in a small bowl. Roll dough into 1 inch balls (1 1/2 inches for heart shaped chocolates) and dip in the sugar.
Place balls of dough on a baking sheet 2 inches apart and bake for 10 minutes.

Once cookies are removed from the oven, immediately press chocolate into the center of each cookie. Let the cookies cool on the pan for 10 minutes and then remove to a cooling rack.
