- Strawberry Sauce:
- 1 pint strawberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Waffles:
- 1 1/2 cups buckwheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup coconut oil

Step 1
Preheat your waffle iron.
Combine all the ingredients for the strawberry sauce in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until strawberries break down, about 15 minutes. Turn off heat.
Combine the waffle ingredients in a blender and blend until combined. Pour batter in waffle iron, according to your makers instruction manual.
Top warm waffles with the strawberry sauce.
