Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (19 oz) Johnsonville Fresh Italian MILD sausage links (sans casings)
- 1 jar (24 oz) Classico Tomato & Basil Sauce
- 8 oz. ziti or penne pasta (about 3 cups)
- 2 eggs
- 1 carton (15 oz) ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese - divided
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degree. Cook pasta and drain.
In a large skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain. Add Classico Tomato & Basil Sausage sauce, heat through & set aside. In a large bowl, combine eggs, ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. Fold pasta into cheese mixture.
In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer half of the pasta mixture and half of the meat sauce. Repeat layers. Cover & bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until heated through and bubbly. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheesed. Baked, uncovered for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with basi.
