Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate meltred
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups pecan halves

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 cookie sheets. Into large bowl measure all ingredients except pecans. With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well mixed, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. Stir in pecans. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls 1/2" apart, onto cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes. With pancake turner, remove cookies to wire rack, cool. Store cookies in tightly covered container.
