Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375°F. Make pie crusts as directed on box for Two-Crust Pie using 9-inch glass pie plate. In large bowl, mix granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour and the cinnamon. Add apples; toss to coat. Spoon apple mixture into crust- lined plate. In small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons caramel apple dip and the milk; drizzle over apples.

In medium bowl, mix 1 cup flour and the brown sugar. With pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over filling.

To make lattice top, cut second crust into 1/2-inch-wide strips with pastry cutter. Place half of the strips across filling in pie plate. Weave remaining strips with first strips to form lattice. Trim ends of strips even with edge of bottom crust. Fold trimmed edge of bottom crust over ends of strips, forming a high stand-up rim. Seal and flute.

Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes. Drizzle remaining caramel apple dip over pie. Cool at least 2 hours before serving.

First apple pie i have made that I could not stop eating!! F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S pie...I added chopped pecans and it was great!

This was an amazing recipe that I've made over and over again for friends and family. Everyone loves it! My only issue was the amount of filling. I have to bake my pies on lined cookie sheets because I know they're going to overflow and leak everywhere. Despite a little extra mess, this is hands down my favorite apple recipe!

Most delicious Caramel Apple Pie EVER!! I substitued homemade caramel dip. Easy to make and everyone looks forward to apple picking season! Thank you for sharing!!

Most delicious Caramel Apple Pie EVER!! Everyone loves it. Thank you for sharing!!

I couldn't add a photo but this was amazing!!!! Easy to make and easy to eat! :) The only thing that was different about mine was I used a reduced sugar caramel. But I used 3 granny smiths, and 2 gala apples and it was amazing! Apple choice is important because some don't bake as well as others.

AMAZING! This recipe was spectacular. Not that hard to make and very good. Looks superb with a latice top.

Wonderfuly simple!

Delicious! Made it for Thanksgiving and Christmas last year and my family and guests couldn't get enough! And it's so easy to make too!

This is the first pie I ever made and the best pie I have EVER eaten!! I am not a baker but found this easy and soooo good! The calories are high but so worth it!

This is by far the best apple pie I have ever eaten! I made this recipe for the first time a month ago and have already made it two more times since! Just incredible and very simple to make!

This recipe is wonderful! I didn't use the caramel sauce, but I plan to. My husband and father-in-law approved, and they are difficult judges to please. This pie stays together well. The crust isn't very sweet, but it compliments the filling well. It's almost like eating an apple crisp and apple pie at the same time. So delicious!

I've made this pie 4 times in the past month and it is getting rave reviews!! its really easy and stays together really well when you serve it. I would definatly try it if you haven't!

No wonder this recipe won at the IN state fair! My husband and I made our first pie using this recipe...best apple pie ever! Tasted of perfection and amazingly comparable to my Grandmother's baking! My husband and I even used regular apples (Golden and Red Delicious apples) that were stocked in our kitchen. This recipe is easy to follow and a sure-fire hit for entertaining. We will be making this for years to come!

My husband lived in Pennsylvania for a few months and we both enjoyed the Dutch festivals there. I made this pie for him and he compared it to those at the festivals. It was very delicious and I will definitely be making this again!!!

Had apples and some caramel dips, saw this recipe and thought to try it. So glad I did, what a hit! The best apple pie I ever had in my life! Instead of using 1cup sugar for apples, I used 3/4 since I used regular apples and used about 6 apples for it. Came out perfect! 5 stars!

Excellent Pie. Fairly easy to make. Was a hug hit at a party, I had to send out the recepie several times.

So easy to make and my family LOVED it!!! Big hit will definitly make it for other get togethers:)

Wonderfully delicious...a keeper ! :)

I"ve made this twice, and both times it was a real hit!! I will keep this recipe and make it often, esp when apples are in season.

My Family LOVED this recipe!!! My youngest daughter (which usually doesn't like sweets that much) ate 2 BIG pieces. This is now her favorite dessert! THANK YOU for this great recipe!
