PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES (BEST RECIPE)

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1.2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1-1/2 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream peanut butter and shortening thoroughly. Add sugar and vanilla and continue beating until fluffy. Beat in egg. Sift flour with soda and salt, blend into sugar mixture.

Roll dough between palms of hands into balls 1" in diameter. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with tines of fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
