Animated Cookie Dough

Mom's Recipe

Ingredients

• 2/3 C butter or margarine (1c)
• 1 c sugar (1 + 1/3 c)
• 2 eggs (3)
• ¼ c milk (3/8C)
• 1 tsp. soda (1 + 1/3 tsp.)
• 1 tsp. vanilla (1 + 1/3 tsp.)
• ¼ tsp. salt (3/8 tsp.)
• 4 c flour (6)
• Decorator Frosting
• 2 c. confectioner’s sugar
• ½ tsp. Vanilla
• 1 tsp. Butter
• Milk or cream to moisten

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Dissolve soda in milk and add. Add vanilla. Stir flour in slowly. Add salt. Chill ½ hour.

Roll to 1/8” thickness. Dip cutter in flour before cutting. Grease cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes in 350 oven.


Decorator Frosting

Sift sugar. Add melted butter. Add vanilla and then milk, a few drops at a time until mixture is stiff. Add food coloring.
