Ingredients
- Cake:
- 4 eggs
- 1 C sugar
- 5 T water
- 1 C flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- pinch salt
- Filling:
- 2 C heavy cream, whipped with sugar to taste
- 1 pint strawberries, sliced
- icing sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375F.
Line rimmed cookie sheet with heavily buttered paper.
Beat eggs well; add sugar; beat until creamy. Add water; beat about 15 minutes. Combine flour with baking powder and add to batter with vanilla and salt. Beat until smooth. Spread onto baking sheet; bake 12 - 15 mintues. Invert on tea towl that has been sprinkled with icing sugar. Cut off hard edges and roll it up white still hot. Chill.
To fill; unroll and spread with whippped cream. Cover with strawberries. Reroll and dust with icing sugar.
