Ingredients
- 2 lbs. smoked sausage cut into 1" pieces
- 3 - 15 oz. cans black beans drained
- 1-1/2 cups chopped onions
- 1-1/2 cps chopped green peppers
- 1-1/2 cups chopped celery
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 leaves of thyme
- 1-1/2 teaspoons leaf oregano
- 1-1/2 teaspoons white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 5 bay leaves
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water

Preparation
Step 1
Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain fat and transfer to crock pot. Combine remaining ingredients to crock pot. Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours. Remove bay leaves. Serve over cooked rice.
