SPICE COOKIES

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup butter or margarine
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/4 cup corn syrup
• 1/4 cup honey
• 3-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
• 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Preparation

Step 1

In small mixer bowl cream together butter or margarine and brown sugar. Blend in corn syrup and honey. Stir together flour, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Add to creamed mixture, stirring well. Shape dough into two 2" diameter rolls, wrap and chill. Slice dough 1/8" thick. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. Cool in rack.
