Ingredients
- 13/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted and slightly cooled)
- 1 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 cup milk (room temperature)
- 2 tbsps maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- oats (for garnish/sprinkling)
- raw sugar (for garnish/sprinkling)

Preparation
Step 1
Mix butter with sugar. Add eggs, milk, maple syrup and 1 tsp. vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients, and add to the wet mixture.
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes or until done.
If desired, you can add raisins, dried cranberries, or chopped nuts.
