Breakfast: Bourbon Vanilla French Toast

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- butter
- 8-12 slices brioche/challah

Preparation
Step 1
Combine milk, cream, eggs, extract, pod and seeds, cinnamon and bourbon in a pie plate.
Heat a skillet over medium-low heat for a minute, grease with a tsp. of butter, turn up heat when butter starts to sizzle.
Dip bread into batter, lightly coating each side, gently shake off any excess batter and put bread onto pan. Cook 5-6 minutes total, flipping once.
