Ingredients
- 1 pound round steak or sirloin steak, diced
- 2-3 large mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1 tablespoon plain flour
- 1/4 cup red wine

Preparation
Step 1
•Fry beef cubes in oil until well browned on all sides.
•Add onion and mushrooms and fry for another 1 - 2 minutes.
•Add salt and pepper to taste.
•Sprinkle flour over meat and add in cup of beef stock. Stir well until thickened.
•Add in 1/4 cup of red wine and simmer for 1 1/2 - 2 hours until meat is VERY tender.
•Serve with potatoes, noodles or vegetables.
