- 1 CUP WHOLE ALMONDS, CHOPPED
- 1 1/4 CUPS RASPBERRY JAM

GREASE A 9 INCH SQUARE BAKING PAN.
CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR UNTIL COMBINED. ADD EGG YOLK AND MIX. ADD FLOUR AND ALMONDS AND BLEND WELL, BUT KEEP CRUMBLY AND NOT TOO DRY.
PAT HALF OF MIXTURE, ABOUT 3 CUPS, INTO PAN. BAKE 20 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND SPREAD JAM ON LEAVING A 1/4 INCH BORDER.
CRUMBLE REMAINING DOUGH OVER JAM. PAT LIGHTLY. BAKE ANOTHER 40 MINUTES. SHOULD BE GOLDEN BROWN ON TOP.
