  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 2 cups walnuts, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cream butter and confectioner's sugar and vanilla until blended. With hands, work in flour and nuts.

2. Shape into 1 inch balls. Arrange close together on buttered cookie sheets.

3. Bake at 300F for 20 min. or until golden brown.

4. Remove from sheets. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm. Cool on wire racks and re-roll in confectioner's sugar.
