Ingredients
- 1 cup applesauce
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups marshmallow creme
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon or apple pie spice
- 1/2 cup walnuts (if desired)

Preparation
Step 1
Combine the first five ingredients and cook to 235-238 degrees F (soft ball stage). Remove from heat and add marshmallow creme, vanilla, powdered sugar and cinnamon. Stir until well blended and pour into greased 9X9 pan. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired. Allow to cool completely before serving or storing.
