Ingredients

  • WHIPPED CREAM:
  • 4 shots espresso (or 1 1/3 cups regular coffee)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate liqueur
  • Whipped cream (listed below)
  • Cocoa powder for sprinkling
  • 1/2 pint heavy cream chilled
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Step 1

Pour each shot of espresso into a mug. To each mug, add 1/4 cup of the heavy cream and 1/4 cup of the chocolate liqueur. Top each mug with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkling of cocoa powder.

For the Whipped Cream: Using an electric mixer, whip the cream in a large bowl until soft peaks form. Add the vanilla and the sugar and continue to beat until it reaches the consistency of whipped cream.
