  • 1 2oz Can crushed pineapple
  • 3/4 Cup of sugar
  • 3 Cup of Fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 Box of yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 lb. Melted butter
  • 1 Cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 Cup of sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease 9x13 pan and spread the drained crushed pineapple over the bottom of the pan. Add the layer of blueberries and the 3/4 cup of sugar. Sprinkle the box of cake mix on top of the fruit layers. Drizzle the melted butter all over the layers of dry cake mix, top it with a generous amount of pecans. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar on top.
Bake in a preheated oven for 35-45 min. After cake has cooked for 25 min take a spoon and cut down through the cake in many places. Continue baking.
