Tostado Casseroles

Ingredients

• 1 pound ground beef
• 1 15-ounce (2cups) tomato sauce
• 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
• 2 1/2 cups corn chips
• 1 15-ounce can refried beans
• 2 ounce (1/2 cups) shredded natural cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In skillet, brown ground beef. Add 1 1/2 cups of the tomato sauce and the taco mix, stirring to mix well Line bottom of 11x3/4 x7 1/2x1 3/4-inch baking dish with 2 cups of the corn chips; crush remaining corn chips and set aside. Spoon meat mixture over corn chips in baking dish. Combine the remaining tomato sauce and refried beans; spread over cooked ground meat mixture. Bake in 375F. oven for 25 minutes or till mixture is heated through. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and crushed corn chips; bake 5 minutes more or till cheese melted.
