Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup reserved pear syrup
- 1 16 oz. can pears, diced
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- CARAMEL GLAZE
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. reserved pear syrup
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together butter and sugars until light. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Sift together all dry ingredients and add to butter mixture alternately with pear syrup. Stir in pears, raisins and nuts and pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until done. While still warm spread with caramel glaze.
