Ingredients
- Butter for pan
- Flour for pan
- 1 cup butter softened, plus 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Topping
- 1 and 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9 by 13 inch pan. Cream butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Whisk flour with baking powder. Combine milk and vanilla. Mix half milk with butter mixture, then mix in half of flour. Repeat. Mix until just combined. Combine topping ingredients.
Spread half of batter in pan, top with 1/2 topping, top with remaining batter and topping. Drizzle butter over all. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
