Ingredients
- Served the shrimp with some brown rice mixed with black beans, corn, and cactus... a light and tasty dish!
- 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled with tail on
- 1 tblsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 chipotle powder
- pinch of pepper
- 3 tblsp honey
- 2 tblsp vodka
- 1 tblsp ketchup
- 1 tblsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tblsp tabasco
- 2 tblsp olive oil
- juie of 1 lime or lemon
- 14 10 inch wooden skewers

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine the dry seasonings in a small bowl. In a larger bowl, add shrimp and season evenly with seasoning. Add the honey, vodka, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, and lime or lemon juice. Stir well to combine and marinate for 40 minutes to 1 hour in refrigerator.
2. After the shrimp has marinated, add four shrimp onto two skewers, side by side. Preheat a large stove top grill or griddle pan to medium/high heat for 4 to 5 minutes. Brush pan with olive oil and cook the shrimp skewers for about 2 minutes per side or just until pink. Garnish with some lemon or lime slices.
Note: You can make this a complete meal by adding some rice and grilled vegetables or warm some tortillas for shrimp tacos. Just add your favorite salsa!
