Ingredients

  • 4 strips bacon
  • 1/3 C chopped onion
  • 1/4 C diced celery (optional)
  • 2 C diced potatoes
  • 1/4 C diced carrots
  • 1 C water
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/8 t pepper
  • 2 C milk
  • 7 1/2 oz chopped clams

Preparation

Step 1

Brown bacon and onion. Add celery, potatoes, carrots and water. Boil til potatoes are tender. Add salt, pepper, juice from clams and milk. Heat- do not boil. Add clams. Heat. Float a pat of butter on each serving. Garnish with paprika.
