Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can cream corn

Preparation
Step 1
In mixing bowl combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder & salt.
Add eggs, milk and oil.
Beat until just moist. Stir in the cream corn if desired. Spoon into greased 8 in. baking pan or muffin tins. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 min. or 'til bread tests done.
I also found this recipe on the internet yrs. ago & this makes more than the boxed cornbread mixes and my family likes this much better. Hopes yours will as well
