Ingredients

  • 1 c. powdered sugar (120 g.)
  • 1 c. granulated sugar (195 g.)
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. vegetable oil (224 g.)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. soda
  • 1 t. cream of tartar
  • 41/2 c. flour (635 g.)

Preparation

Step 1

Oven at 350º.
Cream sugars, butter, and oil.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Combine and add dry ingredients.
Dough will be quite soft.
Roll into balls the size of a walnut.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 350º for 8 to 10 min. or until edges are light brown.
Makes 6 dozen cookies.
