Ingredients

  • 3 c. (18 oz.) semi-sweet Chocolate chips (or milk, chocolate chips) (539 g.)
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT Evapoated Milk!!)
  • dash salt
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts, optional (58 to 116 g.)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

In heavy saucepan; over low heat, melt chips with Milk & salt. Remove from heat; stir in nuts if desired & vanilla. Spread evenly into wax paper or foil lines 8 or 9" square pan.
Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn onto cutting board & cut into squares. Store covered in fridge.
