Ingredients

  • 5-7 large fresh peaches
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 Tbl cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp almond flavoring
  • 2 Tbl butter
  • 1 , 9” baked pie crust
  • whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Mash 2 peaches in saucepan. Add sugar, cornstarch & water to peaches. Mix well and cook 5 min. or until mixture bubbles & is slightly thickened. Remove from heat and add almond flavoring and butter. Chill mixture slightly. Peel and slice remaining peaches. Mix with slightly cooled sauce. POour into baked pie shell, chill and then serve with whipped cream.
