Ingredients

  • 1 TBL margarine
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup mix
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 cups long grain rice
  • 1/2 cup silvered almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Brown in 1 Tbl. margarine: 1 med. onion chopped
½ cup celery

Add 1 lb. sausage and simmer 30 minutes, drain.

Mix Dry Chicken Noodle soup mix with 3 ½ cups water and cook as directed.

Combine sausage, soup ¾ cup long grain rice and ½ cup slivered almonds in baking dish and bake at 325° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
