  • frosting:
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
  • 35-40 cut marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup soft butter
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • pinch of salt,
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • milk

Mix 1 cup butter, 2 cups sugar and 1/3 cup cocoa, then add 4 eggs, 1 at a time. Then add 1 ½ cup flour, pinch of salt, and 2 tsp. vanilla and mix. Add 1 ½ cups nuts, chopped. Pour into greased 9x13 and bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

Take out of oven and cover top with 35 to 40 cut large marshmallows, cut side up. Put back in oven for about 5 minutes or until marshmallows run together. Cool. Spread chocolate frosting over the top.

Frosting: ¼ cup soft butter, ¼ cup cocoa, pinch of salt, ½ tsp. vanilla, about 2 cups powdered sugar, milk.
