  • 1 C whole wheat flour
  • 1 C buttermilk
  • 1/4 C ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 TBLS canola oil

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, flaxseed, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt in large bowl. Stir to mix.

Beat egg in another bowl and whisk in buttermilk and oil. Do not beat. Let stand 5 min.

Cook onn preheated griddle.
