- 1 1/21 1/2 packaged cakes
- 1(16 ounce) container1 (16 ounce) container prepared frosting
- flavoring of choice
- 16oz.16 oz. chocolate chips
- 1T1 T shortening

Directions
Crumble the cake into a large mixing bowl and stir in the frosting until well blended.
Melt chocolate and shortening in a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water, stirring occasionally until smooth.
Use a melon baller or small scoop to form balls of the chocolate cake mixture. Dip the balls in chocolate using a toothpick or fork to hold them. Place on waxed paper to set.
Can be sprinkled with crushed peanuts, sprinkles, coconut, or colored chocolate.
