Ingredients

  • 1/2 -1/2 stick butter
  • 1 -1 T. flour
  • 4 -4 cups whole milk
  • -salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 -1 block extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2-3/4 -1/2-3/4 box macaroni

Preparation

Step 1

-Melt butter in saucepan.

-Stir in 1 T. of flour.

-Add 4 cups milk and stir until thickened- whole milk works best.

-Add salt and pepper

-Cut up 1 block of extra sharp cheddar cheese. Add to sauce and let melt. If too thick add milk to get a thin sauce.

-Cook macaroni and add sauce.

-Put butter on top and bake.

-Put in sprayed casserole pan

Bake 350◦ for 30-45 min – bubbly and golden brown.
