  • 1 Cup of butter
  • 1/2 Cup Crisco shortening
  • 3 Cups of Sugar
  • 5 Eggs
  • 3 Cup of flour
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon extract
  • 1 Cup 7-up at room temperature

Step 1

Cream the butter, shortening, and sugar together beating until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time. Beat in the flour then beat in the extract and 7up. Blend well. Pour the batter into a well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
