Perfect Popovers 1 Picture


  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup 1% milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 Tbs. butter

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450°.
In a medium-sized bowl, beat eggs slightly with a fork.
With fork, beat in flour, milk, and salt until top of mixture is smooth and bottom has a few lumps.
Use butter to grease popover pan, including rim.
Fill popover cups 1/2 full.
Bake at 450° for 20 minutes.
Decrease oven temp to 350° and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Immediately remove popovers from pan and serve hot.

*Just cut open the top, throw butter and jam inside and shake it.*
