Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. coarsely chopped roasted peNUTS

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in medium saucepan. Stir in sugar. Cool to room temperature. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into first mixture. Fold in peanuts. Spread dough in greased 13x9x2-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 min. or until pick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into 28 squares. Store airtight.
