Maple Buttercream

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1 tsp maple flavored extract
• 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
• 2 TBS milk

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and shortening together. Add maple flavoring. Gradually add sugar. Gradually add milk and continue beating until light and airy. Add more milk if necessary. Color with maple coloring if desired.
