  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 6-9 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour and salt, cut in shortening to cornmeal texture.

In separate bowl, mix egg, water, and vinegar. Add to dry ingredients.

Divide into thirds and roll out on lightly floured surface.
