Ingredients
- 1 stick (1/2 C) butter, room temperature
- 1 C sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 C sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 C (2 large) over-ripened mashed bananas
- 3 Tbs milk
- 1/2 C chopped walnuts

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
Grease a 9x5x3" loaf pan.
Beat butter, sugar, and egg in large bowl until fluffy. Combine bananas and milk in a bowl. Add to butter and sugar. Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda onto waxed paper. Stir into sugar mixture. Stir in nuts. Turn into prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until center springs back. Check edges during baking to see if edges are too browned. If so, add a foil tent.
