Ingredients

  • 1 lb of Sausage
  • 2 Slices of Fresh Bread cut into 1/2" cubes
  • 1 Cup of Shredded Sharp Chedder Cheese
  • 2 Cups of Milk
  • 1/2 tsp of Salt
  • 1/2 tsp of Dry Mustard
  • 6 Eggs
  • Butter for coating bake pan

Preparation

Step 1

The night before prepare the following:
Crumble Sausage in a medium skillet.
Cook over medium heat until brown stirring occasionally.
Drain Well.
Spread Fresh Bread cubes in Buttered 12 x 8 x 2" Baking Dish.
Top with Sausage and Chedder Cheese.
Combine Eggs, Milk, and Seasonings, beat well, and pour over Cheese mixture.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.

In the morning:
Pre-heat a 350 degree oven and bake casserole dish for 30 to 40 minutes or until set
