Ingredients
- 1/2 shortening
- 1/2 sugar
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. oats
- 1/2 c. coconut
- 1 c. chopped hazelnuts

Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening, sugars, egg and vanilla. Add flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Blend in oats and hazelnuts. Roll into small balls. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten. Bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes
