  • 2 cups finely chopped fresh or frozen rhubarb
  • 2 cups finely chopped onion
  • 2 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 tea. salt
  • 1/2 tea. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tea. allspice
  • 1/4 tea. cloves
  • 1/4 tea. pepper

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Cool, store in the refrigerator.
