Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of White Corn Syrup
  • 1 Cup of Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup of Melted Butter
  • 1 Heaping Cup of Pecans (preferred roasted)
  • 3 Eggs beaten well
  • Dash of Vanilla
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 9" unbaked pie shell
  • Whipped Cream and/or Ice Cream (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Beat Eggs thoroughly with Dark Brown Sugar
Add Salt, Corn Syrup, Vanilla, and melted Butter and mix well.
Add Pecans.
Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool to set.
Serve with Whipped Cream or Ice Cream
