Ingredients
- Crumb Topping:
- 1/4 cup firm butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1-1/2 to 2 tsp hot water
- Cake:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2-1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups fresh or frozen (thawed and drained) blueberries

Step 1
Heat oven to 375F. Grease 9" round pan or 8" square pan. Prepare crumb topping by cutting margarine into other ingredients with pastry blender till crumbly. Reserve. Mix cake ingredients except blueberries. Beat 30 seconds then fold in blueberries. Spread in prepared pan and sprinkle with crumb topping. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or till toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan if desired. Mix glaze ingredients till smooth and drizzling consistency. Drizzle glaze over warm cake.
