Ingredients

  • 6 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup sunower seeds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Mix the above ingredients together in 9 x 13-inch pan.

Preparation

Step 1

1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix together oil and honey in saucepan or microwave until mixture just boils. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Pour honey mixture over oat mixture. Stir until oat mixture is well coated. Bake at 325º for 10 minutes. Take pan out of oven and stir mixture well so browning will be uniform. Put pan back in oven and continue this process until you achieve desired browning. Total browning time is approximately 1/2 hour. Serve with raisins or craisins which should be added after baking. Top with sprinkling of raw sugar.
